Number Base Systems: August 7, 2018

 

Students learned a new way of counting today: binary! This complex concept that is usually taught in high school classes was explained in a simple way for elementary schoolers to understand. They learned how different number base systems work and how to convert between them, and by the end of class they were even able to translate secret messages written in binary.
