Introduction to Programming and Scratch: June 11-13, 2018

Our first coding class was a success! Students in grades 1-4 were excited to learn how to create their own games using Scratch and demonstrate their new skills. They learned important concepts and terms related to programming. For many of these students, this class was their first exposure to coding, programming, and learning about creating a game.

Through fun and engaging projects, the students mastered complex topics like loops and conditionals, which most people do not learn until high school. In this three-day class, elementary school students created 2 of their own games, each of which taught new skills.
